Oil Pressure Gauges
A properly lubricated engine is absolutely essential to function. An engine that is low on oil is developing problems slowly. By the time the oil levels are low enough to turn on the warning light, the engine is in serious and immediate danger. It should be driven to the lube shop or mechanic immediately. Oil pressure is another indicator of how well the engine is lubricated. Oil pressure is how much oil is circulating through the engine. The oil pressure gauge is located on the dash and it reads out the amount of oil circulation. If there is a sudden drop in oil pressure, or it indicates that it is low, the vehicle should be stopped immediately and oil levels should be inspected. Oil can be added if it is low. Low oil pressure can destroy an engine in very little time. It is a problem that should be addressed immediately.
