Igniter Modules

The ignition is the component of a vehicle that initiates the starting of the engine. It generates the spark the gets the combustion started and begins to warm up the vehicle. The igniter module is a component of the igniter module. It is a transistor type part in an electronic ignition that initiates the ignition coil to fire voltage and create a spark. The spark is what jumps the engine alive and gets all the other parts working. The ignition is separate from the regular combustion activities because it is the first one and requires special equipment to begin the process. Igniter modules are only found on newer vehicles. In older models the equivalent of the igniter module is the breaker points. The igniter module is one of the control units in the vehicle that is responsible for timing the spark and ensuring that it happens at the right time and with the right amount of voltage.
