Fuel Pressure Regulators
Fuel injection systems pressurize the fuel before it is sprayed into the area where it is mixed with air and then can be used for combustion. Fuel that is correctly pressurized ensures that the combustion engine runs with high performance and efficiency. Fuel pressure regulators ensure that the correct pressure is achieved. Fuel that is too pressurized can be dangerous and fuel that is not pressurized enough will not allow for proper function of the fuel injection system. This will ultimately influence how well the engine runs. Fuel pressure regulators are located on the fuel rail. It is a cylindrical chamber connected to the fuel rail. It is the end of the line for the fuel. There is a vacuum hose attached that assist in creating the proper pressure when the car is in idle. Repair to the fuel pressure regulator may require some experience. It can be a bit of a messy job as well.
