Electronic Ignition Control Modules

The ignition system is designed to create a spark that ignites the fuel/air mixture in the combustion chamber of the engine. The small explosion that happens when the spark ignites the fuel causes the piston to move and that translates on down the line to the transmission moves the wheels of the car. When the ignition goes wrong, the car doesn’t run. Timing is a big issue when it comes to how well the ignition system works and therefore how the car runs. Electronic ignition modules ensure that the timing is exactly right. They operate through electrical current and computer timing rather than mechanical devices. They are more efficient than mechanical devices and the engine will run more smoothly and with less potential problems. Electronic ignition modules are a bit more difficult to repair since many more delicate devices make up the system than a mechanical ignition system.
