Brake Fluid Level Sensors
The brakes are arguably the most important part of a car’s function. There is no point to going anywhere, if you cannot stop or slow down. Maintaining the brakes on a car should be a top priority. Brake fluid is what enables the brakes to function, it is a hydraulic system. When the brake fluid level is down, the brakes do not function at optimal levels, it could even become dangerous. In most cars, a brake fluid level sensor is installed. Low level fluid trips the sensor which in turn lights up a warning on the dash. The brake fluid level sensor works with a float in the fluid reservoir. When it becomes too low, the sensor is activated. The sensor is connected to the dash indicator light. When the sensor goes off the light automatically comes on. The light indicates a problem that needs to be dealt with immediately.
